History
In 1993, Lisa and Larry Ballard created a valve remanufacturing division from an existing manufacturing company that has been in existence since the 1960’s, and they called this new organization Southeast Valve, Inc. Much of our growth resulted from development and marketing of valve remanufacturing, custom fabrication, welding, and machining.
Our engineering capabilities and quality products expanded our abilities to many different industries including Refineries, Utilities, Chemical, Pulp and Paper, Textile Fiber and Dyeing facilities.
SVI Industrial has been under the same ownership and corporate structure since 1993.
About SVI Industrial Today
Over the last two decades, our outstanding and reputable customer service and expertise have allowed us to continue to grow and expand our industrial mechanical and valve repair services. Additionally, SVI Industrial added divisions to include engineered gas path solutions (SVI DYNAMICS) and industrial masonry and corrosion control systems (Brick and Tile).
SVI Industrial owes a lot of its success to listening to customer feedback. In more recent years we have heard from customers that they have less resources (from Engineers to Welders and Labor in general). Therefore, the strategy was to acquire a Contractor that could help SVI support turnkey (engineering, fabrication, installation) projects for its target markets which include gas plants for power generation and paper mills. A perfect partner was found with Bremco, Inc. based out of New Hampshire. With Bremco, SVI could provide turnkey support for projects involving gas path solutions as well as offer additional turnkey support for HRSG/Boiler outage work. We now offer our synergies for support as SVI BREMCO.
